This is a Moose

The moose is my favorite animal!

Design of the Picture Book

ThisIsAMoose By Richard T. Morris, illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld

published 2014 by Little, Brown and Company

This book has been out in the wild for a couple days now, and let me be the first to tell you to be sure to check the endpapers. Know a movie buff? A cinematographer? A dud with a digital camera? A moose with a dream? Do you have something important to say? Or do you just need a good laugh?

Well. Scoot over and share the lens with this crew.

From the publisher:

Lights! Camera! Moose!

MOOSE? Yes, Moose! When a movie director tries to capture the life of a moose on film, he’s in for a big surprise. It turns out the moose has a dream bigger then just being a moose–he wants to be an astronaut and go to the moon.

His forest friends step in to help him, and action ensues.

Senior Design Exhibition

Senior Design Exhibition

I am so proud of what Kelsey and Mary and the rest of the seniors in the show have accomplished as designers! The show looks fabulous and I really enjoyed seeing all of their hard work displayed. Working in the ResLife Artist office is such a blessing because of the people that I have met and the experience that I have gained.

Web Design

Web Design

Web design is something that i am really interested in learning. I was searching for some inspiration and came across a page that is actually titled Webdesign Inspiration. It had so many wonderful web pages that provided me with an ample amount of design inspiration. One site in particular that I happened to click on caught me eye. The text is all in Russian allowing me to solely focus on the design and navigation through the website.

My MacBook Pro Can Model

I had a little photo shoot in my living room today for a project we are working on in my typography class. We are creating a magazine and I wanted to portray a student’s work area for one of the articles. I had previously posted a design that I fell in love with and decided that I wanted to try designing with this type of imagery, and I wanted to do it in my own way.
