This year my family and I went on a cruise for spring break. The cruise took off from Tampa Bay and stopped in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. There were so many beautiful and interesting sights throughout this adventure. Here are just a few photos I took with my iPhone throughout the trip.
Here is another identity that I thoroughly enjoy. I love how the logo is kept consistent throughout. I also really appreciate the beautiful color palette that is used.
For my magazine layout, I chose the topic of identity design. I want to create my own identity and photograph it just as you see it here. However, I would like to incorporate the photos in an interesting way and I really like how the design with the flowers uses the background from the photograph as the background.
Visiting the Hamilton Wood Type Museum was such an interesting and awesome experience. I loved that we were able to see and feel the history behind each letterform.
This is the best B I have ever seen.
Look at all these beautiful identities! They stay consistent throughout all the mediums, as well as show the brand personality very well.
I was on my way back from the rec at UWO when I saw this sign for the alumni center…I guess they were trying to portray hierarchy? Or just felt like whispering and?

It is so interesting seeing the process and evolution that the artist went through when creating this logo because it is a similar process that I go through as a design student. Seeing the geometry that is applied to the logo helps me to learn what needs to be done in order for the logo to be perfect.
I came across this logo and fell in love with the beautiful typography that appears to be so simple yet so complex.
